Woodvale International Folk Dance Group was formed in 1968 and we perform dances in costume from various countries around the world, especially Eastern Europe
We give demonstrations at varied venues - for example: Fetes, W.I.s, Old People's Homes, Charity events. We do these demonstrations in costume and can provide simple joining-in for the more energetic. See the contacts page for further information or to book a demonstration.
We meet weekly on a Tuesday evening from 8pm to 10pm in Borough Green Parish Hall where we practice our dances and learn new dances or revise existing dances. During the year we have a number of social events including walks, outings and a barbecue. We also hold an annual dance where members from other dance groups join in; also past members and families come along - everyone is welcome!
